The beginning of the Fraternal Year marks the busiest time of year for Council #15238. This is when planning for all of our faith based initiatives starts. It also kicks off the beginning of our charity and community events.
Cub Scout Pack 233 was chartered by our KofC Council in October 2017 and in 2018 switched the charter to Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. After this change our KofC Council served as the executive agent. In their first year Pack 233 had 6 scouts. However, through determination and hands-on management, Pack 233 now averages between 20-30 scouts per year. Cub Scout participation is critical to the feeding and future success of the Boy Scout Program. As of 2023 Pack 233 has produced 13 Arrows of Light, the highest rank in Cub Scouting. Pack 233 has achieved Gold Journey to excellence every year except 2017.
Boy Scout Troop 233 was created and chartered by Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in August 2021 with an initial membership of 3 scouts. As of 2023 Troop 233 has grown to 12 scouts and has already produced two Eagle scouts: a phenomenal accomplishment. Troop 233 achieved Bronze Journey to Excellence in 2021 and Gold Journey to Excellence in 2022.
